FESTO SLTE

The first electrical mini slide from Festo: the SLTE

Positioning – precise, reliable and space-optimised – controller included. Slow or fast, smooth or dynamic. The SLTE is freely positionable and has a precision, load-bearing guide. Its design platform is the proven SLT plus quiet plain bearing spindle. A motor with integrated encoder is available as the drive. Working loads of maximum 4 kg and short positioning times (50 mm in approx. 400 ms) are a given.

Simply impressive
Thanks to IP54 the external controller can be flexibly mounted either in the field or in a control cabinet.

Simply easier planning
Based on the design platform of the SLT, the SLTE provides practically the full range of interfaces as well as full compatibility with the modular handling and assembly system, including SLT adapter kits.

Simply select and commission
The SLTE naturally includes installation options for energy supply tubing as well as:

• Teach-in positioning records for easy parameterisation of contours

Simple and accurate assembly and installation

• The SLTE is mounted in exactly the same way as the pneumatic SLT

• Through-holes from above or below

• Controller can be mounted directly next to the axis thanks to protection to IP54

• Backwall mounting or H-rail mounting possible

• Controller is connected with the SLTE via a single cable

• All cables are suitable for chain link trunking

• Adapter facilities for energy supply conduits
